We are looking for individuals with diverse backgrounds and extensive industry experience; commercially shipped product is a must. Every one of us at CauldronSoft has worked in this or a related industry for more than 15 years and we are seeking individuals with commensurate abilities. We are located in suburban Boston.

A B.S. or M.S. in Mathematics, Physics or Computer Science is required.

We look for the following skillsets:

  • NET remoting, C#
  • Security and Cryptography
  • Windows XP certification
  • Embedded XP

 

 

 




We have a number of customers that use legacy technologies or are migrating from legacy technologies, therefore we also require a deep understanding of:

  • C++ and ANSI C
  • win32 networking
  • win32 multithreading

 

 

 





For embedded programming we are looking for a strong background in RTOS device driver development, where a background in win32 device driver development (e.g., WDM model) is helpful but not required. Prior experience shipping commercial DSP firmware (motion control, IK, etc.) is a plus. Any experience with WindowsXP/Embedded would be very helpful.

In our day to day tasks we also use use various scripting languages (Python, VB/WSH) and we occasionally work with SQL-compatible databases, so familiarity with these would be helpful.

Knowledge of one or more one or more of the major revision control packages; we use Visual SourceSafe but will be migrating to NXN in the near term.

We are not seeking web services or Java/Java related skill sets at this time.
